Eight Legs versus Nine Building Blocks

by Jonathan
(Cape Town)

It seems that poor "Paul the Octopus" who has been accurately predicting the FIFA World Cup results in South Africa might become calamari soon! At least that seems to be the view of the German fans who saw themselves exit when Spain scored last night.

Paul could not be further removed from the FIFA world cup then suntan lotion in the North Pole, but it helps people ease the pain.

The one thing Paul does not have which the ACFE Fraud Prevention Blocks does, is the number 9. Paul only has 8 legs (tentacles), whilst the Fraud Prevention Building Blocks consist of 9 legs (stepping stones).

Maybe if Paul had that extra leg, he could have become more 'resistant' to the rumours of his demise! Maybe if you as a business, review your 9 stepping stones (the Fraud Prevention Building Blocks), you will prevent your demise due to fraud.

Don't become calamari...you've been warned!
